Lo STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX\u00ae \u00e8 un sistema di controllo e certificazione indipendente e uniforme a livello internazionale per le materie prime, i semilavorati e i prodotti finiti del settore tessile.<\/p>

Lo scopo dello standard \u00e8 quello di verificare la presenza di sostanze tossiche, per l\u2019uomo e per l\u2019ambiente, nei prodotti tessili. La presenza dell\u2019etichetta indica quindi che il produttore \u00e8 certificato come ambientalmente ecocompatibile sia nei processi che negli stabilimenti, oltre che testato per verificare l\u2019assenza di sostanze nocive nel prodotto.<\/p>

L\u2019estesa e severa lista dei requisiti comprendente, tra le altre, l\u2019assenza di:
\u2022 agenti coloranti azoici, formaldeide, cadmio, nichel, ecc.
\u2022 sostanze chimiche pericolose per la salute
\u2022 sostanze ritenute inquinanti per l\u2019ambiente<\/p>

I controlli OEKO-TEX\u00ae delle sostanze tossiche si dividono in classi di prodotto che tengono presente la destinazione d\u2019uso dei tessuti e dei materiali. Pi\u00f9 \u00e8 intenso il contatto di un prodotto con la pelle, pi\u00f9 severi saranno i requisiti umano-ecologici da rispettare.
