For the first time consumers have the possibility to choose a natural insulation, encouraging a conscious choice for their wardrobe.<\/p>


Down is a natural, biodegradable, renewable and environmentally friendly source. An alternative to oil-based synthetic materials, whose microfibres, cannot be naturally reintegrated in the ecosystem and accumulate in the environment.<\/p>


THINDOWN\u00ae offers the same benefits and performances as synthetic, however using ethical and sustainable materials and processes.
The only production plant based in Chieti, Italy, is a highly sustainable and energy-efficient plant. The\u00a0Global Recycled Standard (GRS)<\/a> <\/strong>is promoted by Textile Exchange, a nonprofit organization focused in promoting responsible and sustainable <\/strong>development in the textile industry<\/strong>.<\/p>

The GRS certificate is issued by an external certification body which certifies:<\/p>

The STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX\u00ae is an independent and uniform international control and certification system for raw materials, semifinished and finished products in the textile industry.<\/p>

The purpose of the standard is to verify the presence of toxic substances in textile products, both for humans and the environment. The presence of the label grants that the manufacturer is certified as environmentally friendly both in the processes and in the factories, as well as tested to verify the absence of harmful substances in the product.<\/p>

The extensive and strict list of requirements including, among others, the absence of:
\u2022 azoic coloring agents, formaldehyde, cadmium, nickel, etc.
\u2022 chemicals hazardous to health
\u2022 environment polluting substances<\/p>

The OEKO-TEX\u00ae controls of toxic substances are divided into product classes, according to the intended use of fabrics and materials.
